John Cronin

Co-founder and VP of Product Development

John Cronin is a co-founder and Vice President of Product Development of Glass Dyenamics. He has over 30 years experience working in electrochromic technology and materials science leading to over 75 issued US patents and 30 publications. Mr. Cronin has a strong background in entrepreneurship having, along with Mr. Agrawal, co-established numerous companies to develop novel technologies from concept to commercial products as well as co-developed the electrochromic industry’s highest durability standard, ASTM E-2141. He was a principal scientist in the Donnelly Corporation laboratory that developed automobile electrochromic mirrors. Prior to the Donnelly Corporation, Mr. Cronin was a research professor at the University of Arizona.

Mr. Cronin holds a Post Doctorate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
